As always, our Game Jams are open to everyone over 18. We work hard to present a welcoming and supportive space. If you have any questions or requirements, you can reach us at admin@galwaygamejam.com
You don’t have to work in the gaming industry to attend – anyone with enthusiasm and the desire to create is welcome. Artists, Coders, Musicians, Writers, Designers, Voice Actors. It need not be computer games only neither, board and card games, TTRPGs, we want to see whatever you can come up with.
It’s not a competition, we are there to create and learn together. A theme will be set on the day, and we will help people form teams to work together. You can come with a pre-made team, or work solo – whatever you prefer. At the end of the weekend everyone will get a chance to demonstrate their games and then play test all games made over the weekend.
We hope this sounds interesting to you, and that we shall see you soon at a Galway Game Jam. We aim to host 3-4 a year, so if you can’t make this one, keep an eye on our discord or meetup.
